Within the scope of the European Union Erasmus+ Vocational Education Strategic Partnerships Digital Education Preparation activity, we held the closing meeting of our project called “DigiRailVET: Digitalization in Railway Education", which we applied for in 2020. Nowadays, high-speed train technology, high-security traffic management systems, the need for punctual transportation and transportation safety have become more and more important. As being directly related to the issue of digitalization; with the acquisition and comprehension of new forms of knowledge, the needs arose in the areas of both digital staff mobility and digital education activities. As a result of these needs, within the scope of our "Digitalization in Railway Education" project, we developed blended training programs supported by online and face-to-face trainings for five railway professions, enabling the convenience of the digital world to be used in railway education. We would like to thank our project partners CERTIFER, University of Zagreb and TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş., who shared their valuable knowledge and time with us throughout the project.
